Follow these easy steps to apply for a place at Arbutus College
Step 1: Apply Now

Step 2: Sign Your Student Contract
After submitting the required documents, we send you your contracts as soon as possible. The contract contains all the details about your enrolment and the rules on campus. Please read carefully all sections and electronically sign the contract.
Step 3: Deposit Payment, Letter of Acceptance, and Provincial Attestation Letter
Once we receive the signed contract and your deposit payment, we will issue a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL). These documents are required when applying for a Canadian study permit.
Step 4: Study Permit Application
We encourage you to work with Registered Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) to help you with the submission of your Study Permit application. Please keep us informed with updates about the status of your application.
Entrance requirements
Requirement #1:
High school completion or higher. Applicants who have not completed High School may be considered for admission through the college’s Prior Learning Assessment process. Please contact recruitment@arbutuscollege.com for more information.
Requirement #2:
English proficiency: Starting January 1, 2025, Arbutus College (as well as all other PTIRU institutions) can accept the following English proficiency options.

Required Documents
Application Form
The application form is an online form and must be completed in full. The Arbutus Admissions department reserves the right to request that an application be completed again if it is missing information.
Passport Copy
A scanned copy of the identity/information page of your passport. This scanned copy must be set to the actual size and have a clear resolution.
Proof of English Proficiency
English proficiency.

Proof of Academic Achievement
Scanned copies of academic certificates and/or transcripts for the student’s highest completed educational qualification (minimum completion of high school is required). These scanned copies must be set to the actual size and have a clear resolution.
