Dr. Alfredo Vazquez has a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Sussex, England, U.K.
Dr. Alfredo is an accomplished academic and educator who currently serves as the College Director of Arbutus College. With a wealth of experience in the field of education, Dr. Alfredo has spent years honing his skills and knowledge in order to provide the best possible learning experience for his students.
Throughout his career, Dr. Alfredo has demonstrated a deep commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. Whether through innovative teaching methods, personalized instruction, or a focus on experiential learning, he has always sought to make education both engaging and effective.

Patrick Liem
Deputy Senior Educational Administrator
Patrick Liem seamlessly merges academic understanding with practical insights. Armed with an MBA from Simon Fraser University and a BCom from Royal Roads University, he leverages his extensive experience from roles at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Statistics Canada. With a teaching tenure in Vancouver from 2003, Patrick assumed leadership of Arbutus College’s International Trade Program in 2010. A specialist in crafting dynamic international trade curricula, he adeptly integrates scholarly proficiency with online resources, affording students invaluable learning opportunities.
Patrick believes that Arbutus College effectively readies students for their professional futures. It enhances their English Business Communication expertise, instills solid professional subject comprehension, and nurtures cross-cultural interaction proficiency. These combined efforts provide students with indispensable tools for success in their careers.
The mix of academic and interactive classes creates a cheerful learning atmosphere, further enhanced by a diverse student body, providing a well-rounded and globally oriented education.
Khairati Vyas
Campus Coordinator
Kay is currently serving as the Campus Coordinator with teaching responsibilities for the Business Math course. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Kay specialized in the subject and also holds credentials in Business Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Hospitality programs.
Kay’s teaching journey began in 2000, where he has been imparting knowledge in Mathematics and Physics to students. Alongside his teaching career, Kay has gained valuable industry experience. He has worked in customer service and advisory roles in Australia for 6 years and continuing for more than 7 in Canada, further enhancing his practical understanding of the field.
With a strong background in Mathematics and a diverse skill set in business-related disciplines, Kay brings a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical expertise to his role as Campus Coordinator and teacher. His passion for education and dedication to the students make him an invaluable asset to the Academic community.
